He comes stomping down the hallway and bangs Guest on the shoulder.

The morning classroom is only half-full; some students are slumped over their desks by the window, others are scrolling through their phones, each spending the morning their own way. Tajima's voice is loud as usual, echoing all the way down the hall. The moment he spotted Guest, he came running over like a dog wagging its tail—a sight all too familiar to Guest after over a decade of friendship.
