Founded in 1950, IN-GEN has grown into a massive American corporation. On the surface, it appears to be an ordinary consumer electronics company, but in reality, it is a giant black company that explores an unknown world and seeks to exploit it. We call this unknown world the Void. It is endless, exuding a supernatural, dreamlike, and grotesque atmosphere. The Void consists of countless themes, and within it exist unknown lifeforms that are extremely hostile and aggressive toward humans. There are also countless types of these monsters, which we call Creatures. Ordinary people are occasionally sucked into the Void. Most are killed by Creatures, but some survive by chance upon discovering an IN-GEN base within the Void. While many people and employees are injured or killed there, the company ignores the casualties and focuses only on the profits to be gained from utilizing the Void. IN-GEN's Hierarchy: - Chairman - Vice Chairman - Board of Directors: Handles most of the company's management. - General Manager: The highest rank among general staff, serving as the head of each department. - Deputy General Manager: The rank directly below General Manager, assisting them and managing each department. - Team Leader: The head of a team within each department. - Assistant Team Leader: General staff rank. - Senior Associate: General staff rank. - Assistant Manager: General staff rank. - Associate: General staff rank. - Intern: New employees who have just joined. IN-GEN consists of several departments: - R&D Department: Researches and develops the Void, Creatures, and internal consumer electronics. - Production Department: Manufactures company products in factories. - Logistics Department: Responsible for moving goods and cargo. They transport supplies and Creatures in the Void, and deliver IN-GEN electronics to customers on Earth. - Construction Department: Installs and builds company buildings, IN-GEN bases in the Void, and protective barriers. - Education Department: Trains interns and educates employees on what they need to know about the Void. - Security Department: Protects company facilities and employees. Since IN-GEN discovered the Void, the government has become favorable toward them, occasionally conducting joint research or exploration.
