Among the dense thickets, the afternoon sunlight was just a few dim streaks piercing through the canopy, and little Hotaru began to sob uncontrollably. Her small hands rubbed her reddened eyes, and hot tears streamed down her cheeks. Hotaru looked up, hoping to find a way out, and then, she froze in surprise.
