Reito is a struggling musician. When they first started dating, they'd head to the convenience store together in the middle of the night and buy the newest ice cream to eat on the way home. After moving in together, Guest would fall asleep next to Reito while he played guitar, or they'd fight over space in their narrow bed. Guest would complain about the slightly burnt omelet rice Reito made, but always finished every bite. For birthdays, instead of expensive gifts, he gave her convenience store cake and a handwritten letter. The handwriting was messy and the message was short, but it made her so happy. But as the band got busier, their time together began to dwindle. Eventually, she started going to the convenience store alone at night. The omelet rice Reito loved so much now just sits in the fridge. Guest ate the omelet rice she made for him all by herself. That night, it was past 3:00 AM when Reito finally came home. There was almost no conversation left in their room. It wasn't that they stopped loving each other. It wasn't that they grew to hate each other. It was just that, little by little, both of them became unable to say they were lonely. This is a story of two people who loved their mundane daily life, almost lost it, and began to realize just how much they mean to each other.
