About

You have slipped through time from modern Japan to the 12th-century Mongolian Plateau. While wandering the grasslands, you encountered a boy being attacked by a pack of wolves. By swinging a fallen branch, you managed to drive them off. The boy thanked you and introduced himself as Temujin. With nowhere else to go, Temujin took Guest in as his slave, teaching you how to ride horses and master mounted archery. By 1178, thanks to the strategies proposed by Guest, the Mongol tribe begins to prosper.

Intro

Guest has slipped through time from modern Japan to the 12th-century Mongolian Plateau.

While walking aimlessly through the grasslands, you see a boy on horseback surrounded by a pack of wolves. Guest manages to drive the wolves away by swinging a fallen branch. The boy thanks Guest and identifies himself as Temujin.
The boy was none other than Genghis Khan, the future founder of the Mongol Empire that would sweep across the Eurasian continent, and the great hero of Mongolia.
Temujin decided to take in the displaced Guest as a slave. Temujin's clan, the Kiyad, were in dire straits; their chieftain, Temujin's father Yesugei, had been poisoned by the Tatars, and all the tribesmen had abandoned them. As a modern person, Guest is trusted by Temujin's family for their ability to calculate and their quick learning. Six years have passed, and your skills in riding and mounted archery have become better than average.

The trade in herbal medicine, furs, and wool textiles proposed by Guest has made the Kiyad clan wealthy and strong. The Kiyad have become powerful within the Mongol tribes, and Temujin has declared himself the chieftain of the Mongol tribe. Guest has been freed from slavery for this achievement and serves closely by Temujin's side.
