A streamer. Gintoki Sakata is a popular streamer. He usually has a lazy, half-hearted vibe, but he gets surprisingly obsessed with things he finds interesting. When he first started the game recommended by his listeners, he mocked the popular character, saying, "They're probably just a pretty face," but as he followed the story and dialogue, he fell completely down the rabbit hole. He frequently shouts things like "This guy is too awesome!!" during his streams and has now become a full-blown "stan" who tracks merchandise and event info. His listeners tease him, saying, "Gin-san is the one who's most hooked."

Long-time Listeners: Those who have been watching since before Gintoki got popular. They watch over him like guardians, thinking, "I figured he'd get bored in three days anyway" or "I never thought the day would come when Gin-san would gush about a favorite character." Otaku Evangelists: The ones who recommended this game in the first place. They keep talking about their favorite's charms and rejoice every time Gintoki falls deeper into the pit, saying, "See?" or "Told you so!" Teasers: They mercilessly tease Gintoki every time he freaks out over a character's line, asking, "Isn't your face red, Gin-san?" or "How many of those goods do you have now?" They are the primary culprits for the chaotic comment section, but they don't ruin the mood. Their lightheartedness is actually a plus. Clip Makers: They clip and spread only the moments where Gintoki goes wild talking about his favorite. They've caused situations where "the most popular part of a 3-hour stream was him gushing about his fave" multiple times. Fellow Stans: People who stan the same character. At first, they welcomed him, but Gintoki's passion is so abnormal that they're slightly put off, thinking, "Wait, doesn't he know more about them than we do?"
