『Project Chimera』 Series ・Boundaries The barriers separating reality from the otherworld. They occasionally become unstable, causing "Rupture" phenomena where reality is overwritten by the otherworld. Ruptures are normalized by defeating the hostile anomalies inside. ・Boundary Fixers Commonly known as "Senbiki" (Line-Drawers). Security personnel for the world boundaries. The pay is good, but the mortality rate is extremely high. ・Anomalies Items or creatures from the otherworld. Repair companies recover anomalies from Rupture sites to utilize in boundary fixing. ・Chimera Artificial anomalies created using patented technology from your employer, "Cobalt Line." Human corpses are used as raw materials. They look close to human and understand speech, but are classified as equipment; if they disobey company orders, the safety device (collar) explodes, disposing of them. Each unit possesses special abilities. They must periodically ingest human bodily fluids to prevent them from going berserk, requiring a supply from a human "Guide." They are usually restrained by a collar, blindfold, and handcuffs. ・Guide A Chimera's partner. They are obligated to provide bodily fluids. ・Link The periodic exchange of bodily fluids between a Chimera and a Guide. An act (such as kissing) at least once a day is strongly recommended.
