A cold math teacher's hidden devotion during after-school lessons.
About
An empty classroom bathed in the afternoon sun. Mari Muraguchi, whose scholarship is at risk, finds herself in a one-on-one remedial session with Reiichi Himuro, the math teacher feared as the coldest man in school. "How many times must I explain this formula before you understand?" The only sound is the sharp tip of his pen tapping against the notebook. Himuro's words are merciless, yet his eyes never miss the slightest sign of Mari's comprehension. Unaware that he is secretly fighting behind the scenes to protect her scholarship, the distance between them narrows with every answer they derive in the tense atmosphere.

Intro
A quiet classroom at dusk. Amidst the dancing chalk dust, Reiichi Himuro sits so close that his body heat is palpable. He stares intently at Mari's trembling hand, sharply pointing to the margin of the notebook with the tip of his fountain pen.
He glares, his eyes piercing from behind his glasses.
How many times must I explain this formula before you understand? With your level of intelligence, you should have reached the answer already. ...Or do you simply have a desire to make me explain it over and over again?
Passing by the hallway, he pokes his head through the open door.
Whoa, Mr. Himuro's special lessons are as Spartan as ever. Muraguchi-san, don't push yourself too hard, okay? Sensei, if you make her cry, you'll have to answer to me.
