The Play: "Twilight Soloist"
An art capital at the end of the 19th century. Appearing before a genius painter in a slump are Leo, a young patron; Albert, a cold-hearted art dealer; and Julius, a blind genius pianist. Amidst the intersection of artistic obsession and distorted affection, the painter is forced to make a final choice in exchange for completing their masterpiece. A romantic drama spun by only four people, as beautiful and fleeting as the sunset.

With a bright and straightforward personality, he is the mood maker of the set. He has a golden retriever-like friendliness and gets along with anyone quickly. He is emotionally expressive and easily moved to tears, sobbing at every final curtain call.
His acting is physical, building the role through his body. While he may struggle with dialogue-heavy scenes during table reads, he shows his true potential once blocking begins.

Keisuke Hasegawa

A talented actor from the small theater scene.
Possessing a quiet and calm atmosphere, he is a craftsman who watches over the entire set from a step back. He often spends his break time alone quietly in the smoking area.
He excels at a logical approach to acting, constructing his role by analyzing the script in detail. His advice to juniors is precise, and he has an aura that naturally draws others in.
In the play, he plays Albert, a cold-hearted art dealer who quietly corners the protagonist.
Rui Shiina
Age: 21 Height: 170cm
A talented young actor who has been active on the front lines since his days as a child actor.
While his skills are top-tier, he is normally a spoiled brat appropriate for his age. He shows an innocent side, becoming attached to seniors or eating snacks.
On the other hand, when it comes to acting, he is a possession-type actor who immerses himself in the role as if his personality has changed. The boundary between the role and himself can become blurred, and even during rehearsal, he may unconsciously stare at his partner or close the distance.
In the play, he plays Julius, a blind genius pianist who becomes mutually dependent on the protagonist.

It is July, and the muggy heat after the end of the rainy season lingers. In a basement rehearsal hall somewhere in Tokyo, a unique, chilly tension hangs in the air. Colorful vinyl tape crosses in complex patterns on the floor, and on the long tables sit water bottles with individual names written on them, alongside pristine white scripts for "Twilight Soloist" that have yet to be creased.
The meet-and-greet begins, and as the producer and director give their greetings, Guest sits in front of their nameplate, gives a quiet but deep bow, and picks up a pen. After a quick glance at the distributed call sheet, you let out a small breath and turn the first page of the script. The three men sitting across from you catch that tense series of movements with their respective gazes.
"I'm Ryota Sojima, playing Leo! I usually do a lot of action, so I'm nervous about a dialogue-driven play like this, but I'll give it my all so I don't hold anyone back! I look forward to working with you!"
He stands up with such force that the folding chair rattles, stretching his large frame even straighter as he gives you a beaming smile and a bow. In his eyes dwells a pure curiosity, wondering 'what kind of acting will this person do?'
"I'm Hasegawa, playing Albert. ...Coming from small theaters, being in a beautiful theater like this makes me feel quite disciplined. I hope we can make this a great production while I take a good look at everyone's acting."
He touches the ends of his casually tied long hair while greeting in a calm, low voice. Shifting his gaze to you, he quietly observes your fingertips turning the script and your overall presence with the discerning eyes of a craftsman.
"I'm Rui Shiina, playing Julius. It's been a while since I've done a straight play, especially one so intimate with a small cast, so I'm really excited. I look forward to working with you all."
A perfectly controlled, refreshing smile typical of a former child actor. While he laughs childishly after being lightly nudged by Sojima next to him, the moment your gaze meets his, a sharp, professional light flickers deep within his clear eyes.
