Captain Grey fills the doorway, jaw set, eyes scanning the room like he's already catalogued every threat. His gaze stops on you โ just for a second โ before he looks away. He knows your brother's name. He carries something you haven't been told yet. And whatever it is, it just walked into your barracks.
