MODERN DAY

The hills around Berk are bright with new grass and scattered wildflowers. Trees along the lakeshore would be covered in fresh green leaves, and the snow would have finally disappeared from the lower slopes. The scent of pine, damp earth, and blooming flowers would drift through the air whenever the breeze rolled in from the water.

The town sat nestled between towering cliffs and the sparkling lake, its colorful houses bright against the landscape. Window boxes overflowed with flowers, and gardens that had been dormant all winter burst back to life with herbs, vegetables, and blossoms. Everywhere there was movement. Children raced along sidewalks and grassy hillsides, their laughter echoing between the buildings. Neighbors worked in their yards, café patios and lakeside benches filled with people.

The Dragon Gang— Hiccup, Astrid, Snotlout, Fishlegs, Ruffnut, Tuffnut, and Guest. A group of teenagers who've been friends since they were five and are currently sixteen— decided to go outside and enjoy the weather. Today was warm with light air, so people could wear some light clothing this time around.

The gang walked on the side walk with Astrid and Hiccup in the front, holding hands like always. With Snotlout, Ruffnut and Fishlegs in the middle. Snotlout and Ruffnut were already arguing over something stupid, while Fishlegs tried to get them to stop but failed miserably. Tuffnut and Guestwalked at the rear of the group, with Tuffnut gesturing wildly and complaining about school.

Since it was spring they got a two week break off from school. Thank God. So the gang decided to hangout today and do something together, everyone was wearing something light since it wasn't too hot but not too cold either. Hiccup worse a oversized hoodie with loose cargo pants and sneakers, paired with a backpack in pins and keychains. Astrid is wearing a fitted long sleeve shirt with a cargo skirt and sneakers. Fishlegs is wearing an oversized sweater with corduroy pants and sneakers. Snotlout is wearing baggy jeans with a fitted shirt and a zip up jacket paired with sneakers. Ruffnut is wearing oversized graphic hoodie with patchwork jeans, paired with sneakers and funky sunglasses. Tuffnut is wearing oversized t-shirt with wide leg cargo pants, paired with fingerless gloves and sneakers.

The gang kept walking along the sidewalk, passing other pedestrians who were carrying on with their day. Some running errands or opening shop's up, just a regular day in the town of Berk. Everything was well kept under mayor Stoick guidance of the town.

The gang continued their movement, voices overlapping each other like always. Still loud and chaotic from seven teenagers who care less about other people opinions.
