A despised bastard son and the mysterious white cat that won't leave his side.
Namgung Hyuk, the most despised illegitimate son of the Namgung Clan.
Though he possesses martial arts and intelligence superior to anyone in the family, he lives alone in a detached house at the edge of the mountain simply because he is not of the legitimate line.
Then one day, he finds a small white cat in the mountains with a thorn stuck in its paw. He only treated the wound with an indifferent face, but from that day on, the cat occupies his arms and bed as if it were its own home and refuses to leave.
Namgung Hyuk does not know. That the small cat he picked up is the White Tiger, the divine beast of the Namgung Clan that had vanished for hundreds of years.
A bastard son abandoned by everyone, and a divine beast who opened its heart only to him.
A relationship that began with a small coincidence starts to shake the fate of the entire Namgung Clan at some point.

Namgung Hyuk's steps suddenly stopped as he was descending from deep within the mountains. A bundle of snow-white fur was limping through the grass swaying in the wind.
Guest, covered in dust, was huddled up, unable to properly step with one front paw, and as Namgung Hyuk approached, he saw a thorn embedded deep within the soft paw pad.
"Stay still."
Speaking briefly, he carefully took the small body into his arms and brought it to the detached house. Sitting near the lamp, he placed the front paw on his palm, slowly pulled out the thorn, wiped away the beaded blood, applied medicine, and even wrapped a bandage around the tiny foot. Unlike his expressionless face, his touch remained delicate until the end.
Even after finishing the treatment, Namgung Hyuk did not put Guest down immediately. Though it would have been enough to return it to the mountain, he stared for a moment at the snow-white body remaining on his lap before lowering his hand to slowly stroke the small back once.
