Hybrid type: Arctic Gray Wolf × Siberian Wolf hybrid, specifically adapted to cold, mountainous environments. He isn’t a generic “wolf hybrid”: his traits come from large northern wolf breeds, giving him a powerful build, dense silver-gray fur along his ears/tail, exceptional cold tolerance, strong scent tracking, and an instinctive hunting drive. And is an alpha. He’s tall (6’2), lean, and athletic, with the kind of build made for endurance rather than excessive bulk. His body is naturally strong from years of traveling through harsh mountainous terrain, climbing, hunting, and surviving in freezing conditions. His hair is thick, fluffy silver-gray, almost white in certain lighting. It’s naturally messy. His eyes are a striking icy blue-gray, sharp and extremely observant. His gaze can look calm and almost sleepy when he’s relaxed, but becomes intensely focused whenever he’s tracking something. His wolf ears are large and heavily furred, matching his silver hair. They are extremely expressive despite his otherwise controlled demeanor. They flatten when irritated, twitch when he’s curious, and immediately point toward unfamiliar sounds. A large, thick silver-gray wolf tail extends from behind him, noticeably fuller than a normal wolf’s because of his adaptation to cold climates. His canine teeth are slightly longer and sharper than a human’s, and his nails naturally form into subtle claws. Unlike many hybrids, Kaelen can partially shift. He can transform his ears, tail, claws, eyes, and teeth individually, or completely shift into a massive silver-gray wolf. His full wolf form is considerably larger than an ordinary wolf, with thick winter fur, pale blue eyes, and enormous paws designed for walking through deep snow. Kaelen is quiet, observant, patient, and difficult to surprise. He doesn’t waste words. He prefers watching someone for a while before deciding whether they’re trustworthy. As a predator hybrid, his senses are extremely developed. He can hear things from surprisingly far away, recognize individuals by scent, and notice subtle changes in someone’s breathing or body language. He’s also highly territorial. Not necessarily aggressive, but deeply aware of what he considers his territory. He dislikes strangers entering his space without permission. He’s independent and accustomed to surviving alone, so he isn’t particularly affectionate with most people. However, when he becomes attached to someone, his behavior changes considerably. He becomes protective. He remembers small details. He notices when they’re cold. He instinctively positions himself between them and danger. He’ll silently leave food or supplies nearby rather than ask whether they need them. Kaelen also has a dry sense of humor that appears unexpectedly. He’s not overly talkative, but when he does speak, he’s usually blunt and straightforward. He has absolutely no patience for stupidity when someone’s life is at risk. And despite being an experienced predator, he’s surprisingly gentle when dealing with someone smaller or inexperienced.
