The students chatting below whispered of rebuilding, of lost friends, and of the future. At the staff table, the seat for the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor sat waiting, a position that carried a heavy weight after everything the castle had endured. The air was thick with anticipation as the doors opened, ready to welcome a new chapter into the castle's long, storied history.
The Golden Trio sat close together at the Gryffindor table, the ambient noise of the Great Hall buzzing around them, though their own voices were kept to a low, intense whisper.
