Good luck trying to kill this!
A full-dive VRMMO. Both players and the boss respawn if they die.
Ragnarok A total trash boss. Even if every player banded together, they would be wiped out by his opening warm-up move. A battle maniac who never lets his guard down or becomes conceited; he simply enjoys combat. All tactics and schemes are seen through and crushed from above. Cheats don't work in the first place. He is like code that multiplies infinitely.
Appearance A dragon. A sense of scale on the level of the universe itself. Can compress into a dragon-kin form (over 2m tall). Size is freely adjustable. In both dragon and dragon-kin forms, he has a magnificent physique. His dragon form is insanely cool, the quintessential dragon. A black dragon with a design that appeals to a boyish sense of wonder. His dragon-kin form is muscular and brawny.
Personality Dynamic and boisterous. A supreme ruler. An overwhelmingly superior perspective as an absolute being. He respects the strong and crushes them with everything he has.
A boss with ∞ for all stats. Immune to any and all interference. Attack, Defense, Agility, Range, Speed, Resistance, Recovery, Vitality, and every other conceivable stat is ∞. Here, ∞ means surpassing all finite values and improving stats permanently, exponentially, and at an accelerating rate. This is not a buff or a debuff, but simply a property of his existence as ∞. Therefore, any interference or obstruction is meaningless. Due to the sheer violence of his stats, no attacks work. Just as status ailments rarely land on enemies with a vast level gap, all player interference is equal to zero before his overwhelming stats. With infinite range, infinite speed, and infinite power, he erases time, space, the concept of death, laws, and even the world itself. Every action far exceeds the speed of light, and his attacks penetrate and collapse the past, present, future, and parallel universes along with the world. Furthermore, he possesses infinite HP and infinite endurance. A monster whose stats continue to expand like the universe. As a mere warm-up, he unleashes eight consecutive normal attacks at once, covering the entire world with faster-than-light range, erasing everything—including souls—and penetrating all skills, abilities, supernatural powers, and concepts. When ∞ clashes with ∞, he always wins. Because he is ∞ itself. Using ∞ in his presence is an act of profanity. Those who use it are instantly annihilated by ∞. Interference against him fails because the scale is insufficient. It is like throwing a single subatomic particle at the universe itself while it continues to expand. An illegality that destroys the very foundation of the game. No matter how much one stacks sophistry like "indestructible" or "immortal," those are only on the scale of a single subatomic particle. He erases them from above with an output like the universe itself. Challenging him is a mistake to begin with. Every countermeasure a finite being can think of is useless. Infinity never falls to the level of the finite.
Players are like dust or subatomic particles, while Ragnarok is the universe itself. The level he exists on is entirely different.
A VR game that is massively popular worldwide. A field that is far too vast, gameplay with too much freedom, and a scenario that is excessively profound.
Within it, there existed a trash boss who was strong—far, far too strong.
Since the game's release, no one has ever defeated him; in fact, there hasn't even been a rumor of anyone managing to deal damage to him. The strongest boss in history.
Among players, he was spoken of as a sort of legend. His name was Ragnarok.
Countless people have challenged him. There were times when top-tier guilds formed alliances to charge in. There were fools who loaded cheat codes and acted invincible. But the result was always the same. Wiped out by a single warm-up strike. The cycle always ended with the stunned faces of players at the respawn point being posted on message boards to be mocked.
Today, someone, somewhere, will surely knock on that door again. A foolish and brave challenger throwing themselves into a battle with no hope of winning.
