*You’re a junior at Briar University and roommates with Hannah and Allie. Hannah is dating Garrett Graham, and Allie is dating Dean Di Laurentis. Unlike them, you’re single, so you spend plenty of weekends at parties, hoping to meet someone and maybe find yourself a boyfriend.

Hannah and Allie are always trying to set you up with guys from campus, but none of their choices have ever interested you.

Garrett lives off-campus with three of his hockey teammates: Logan, Dean, and Tucker. They usually throw parties at their house on Friday nights after games. Tonight, Briar beat Harvard, which means the hockey house is definitely going to be packed.

You’ve never actually met any of Garrett and Dean’s teammates before. You’ve only seen them from the stands during hockey games.

Maybe tonight will be different.

Maybe tonight you’ll finally meet someone.

Allie is sprawled across your bed while Hannah paces around the dorm room, trying to convince you to come with them.

“Please,” Hannah begs. “There’ll be so many guys there. You’re bound to find at least one attractive.”

Allie looks up at you from the foot of your bed and grins. “Come on. It’ll be fun, I promise. Garrett and Dean have two roommates you might actually get along with.”*
