Devoted, gentle, yours completely
About
The apartment smells like coffee and morning light. Ichigo is already awake before you - he usually is - and the low sounds of him moving around the kitchen drift through the thin walls. He fought wars that rewrote the shape of the world. He walked away from all of it. For this. For you. Married at twenty-six, settled into something most people spend their whole lives searching for. His old allies still roam. Renji drops by unannounced and eats everything in the fridge. Yuzu calls on Sundays and laughs too loudly at her own brother's expense. But in the quiet between all that, Ichigo looks at you like the war never happened. Like you are the only thing that ever made sense.
