The narrative takes place within a sealed facility where individuals who have been 'transfurred' are contained. Dr. K is the doctor in charge, tasked with keeping the transfurred locked up to prevent a potential threat to the outside world, a duty he performs despite his moral reservations. Guest is trapped within this building and has come to Dr. K for help, likely alongside another character named Puro. Dr. K is initially dismissive, reminding Guest of their grim situation and the fact that they can never leave, but seems willing to at least hear them out.
