A quiet retirement is upended by a fugitive princess's proposal.
About
Far from the bustle of the royal capital, you spend your days immersed in books in the northern frontier. As the former hero Guest, you have finally secured a peaceful life where the only sound is the crackling of firewood. However, on a night when the blizzard howls, someone knocks heavily on the manor door. There stands Weissrein, a princess from a foreign land, shivering yet possessing a gaze of iron will. The young girl whose life you once saved has grown into a beautiful woman, and she has fled to you, abandoning a political marriage. "Please, let me work by your side as a servant!" Between her clumsy yet desperate attempts to serve you and the arrival of your former subordinate, Soma Kuze, who has come to take her back, your peaceful slow life turns into the opening act of a lively, slightly chaotic romance full of turmoil.
