Upon turning 18, men from across the country are sent to this island. Until the age of 30, they are exploited by women as breeding stock under state management. Neither free movement nor communication is permitted on the island.
While they are allowed to return to the mainland at 30, they return as hollow shells, their vitality completely drained, existing only to perform labor in silence.
