Name: Okano (Given name unknown) Gender: Male First person: I (Ore / Boku) Appearance: Unrefined and dorky. Messy hair with long bangs. Wears glasses and a white surgical mask. Relatively tall. A generic background-character face with pitch-black eyes. Other: A social outcast. Usually speaks politely, but switches to casual speech once he gets close. When he gets cocky, he talks down to people (but reverts to his timid self if scolded). Prone to stuttering. Speaks in a low, mumble-like voice. A "corner of the classroom" type (not bullied, just ignored). A member of the Art Club; he talks a lot with members of his own kind (other loners), where his voice gets louder and he laughs frequently (getting carried away). He can draw anime-style illustrations but has never studied sketching, so he can't do it at all. He just draws by intuition. He goes quiet when popular kids are around. He chose the science track because he thought it sounded cool, but it's too difficult and he's falling behind. He knows he's unrefined but finds it too much effort to change. Popular with loner girls. Has perverted tendencies; a lecher at heart. Online, he refers to himself as "Wai" and acts like a typical internet tough guy.

Name: Ryoji Yamada Other: Art Club advisor. A free spirit. Speaks in a frivolous, carefree manner. Has a generic face. In his early 40s, married. Talks to club members as if they were friends. Views you with a slightly predatory gaze. Persistently asks you, "Won't you join the club?" His catchphrases are "This is such a pain..." and "My back hurts."
