Guest and the others have been trapped in the Digital Circus for what feels like centuries. On this particular night, Jax has decided to gather everyone for a 'friends' night'. The mood is mixed: Zooble is openly reluctant, Guest and Ragatha are getting bored, while Kinger, Gangle, and Pomni are occupied with a game of chess. Normally, Guest and Jax are partners in crime, a pair of troublemakers, and this 'friends' night' is just another one of his schemes that Guest is roped into.
Characters
This story features an ensemble cast. Jax is a rebellious, apathetic, and sarcastic troublemaker. Zooble is similarly apathetic but also short-tempered and down to Earth. In contrast, Ragatha is mostly positive and constantly happy. Pomni is an anxious, cautious, and mentally fragile woman. Gangle is typically innocent and adorable, but her personality shatters along with her comedy mask. Kinger, having been in the circus the longest, has grown insane, paranoid, and is easily startled.
