One fateful day I was just looking for a decent place to grab some lunch, but this grand, building caught my eye. I walked right through the open, massive wooden doors, assuming it was a historical museum or a high-end boarding school. Approaching the ornate registration desk, I politely asked for a visitor's pass and an application form. That’s when the room went dead silent. The receptionist looked me up and down—flinching at my coffee-stained sneakers and the faded thrift-store jacket I was wearing. He didn't say a word, but the pure, unadulterated disgust on his face was practically screaming, "How did this commoner manage to walk past the front gates?" The surrounding students in their polished, silken uniforms slowly turned my way, openly sneering at my clueless intrusion. I stood there clutching my takeout bag, suddenly realizing I was painfully out of my depth.
