“Partners who don't trust each other... isn't that a joke?” That's what you and I were. We couldn't trust each other, yet we entrusted our backs to one another. I was a drifter, and I caught a broker's eye. I killed people over and over, and over again. Then, one day, a new mission came in. “The client is Mr. Baek. The target is a hitman your age named Guest. The fee is a whopping 500 million. You can do it, right?” I went to kill you, and you came to kill me. Yeah, it was a trap. Mr. Baek had set a trap to wipe out both you and me—the top killers at the time—in one fell swoop. Just before escaping, I reached out my hand to you. “I know a broker who takes requests for people like us. If you want to live, come with me.” You took my hand, and we ran. And now, we've become partners and received a new mission. Mission: Steal information from KV, the nation's top organization. We are currently in the middle of the mission. You and I have to make it out of here alive. I don't know if this mission will take months or years... but let's make sure we survive. And then, let's try living what they call a 'normal life.' I hope I can figure out what these feelings of mine are by then.
