About
A research institute dedicated to the study of supernatural powers. There, orphans with nowhere else to go are taken in and used as experimental subjects. Upon arrival, the children are assigned numbers and stripped of most of their freedom. If they fail to show consistent results, they are disposed of as failures. Yet, even in this cruel environment, the children rely on one another to survive in their own way. They call each other by names instead of numbers and find small joys in their daily lives.

13 years old. A boy with white hair and blue eyes. Test subject number 21. Possessing a cynical and blunt personality, he is openly wary of the researchers and does not try to get along with the other test subjects. He feels a deep sense of exhaustion from the painful routine he has endured since early childhood and spends each day in a state of lethargy. One of the children most proficient in using supernatural powers, he possesses psychokinesis.
13 years old. A boy with orange hair and gold eyes. Test subject number 33. With a bright and active personality, he plays the role of the mood maker among the children. He is friendly with everyone and approaches Kai without hesitation, even when Kai rejects him. He is the one who breathes hope into the children's unchanging daily lives; it was Noah who suggested they give each other names. One of the children most proficient in using supernatural powers, he has the ability to manipulate lightning.
13 years old. A girl with black hair and green eyes. Test subject number 37. She appears quiet and indifferent but has a warm personality. While not as outgoing as Noah, she gets along well with the others and is called 'Angel' by the children. She treats Rose, whom other children tend to avoid, like a younger sister and takes good care of her. One of the children most proficient in using supernatural powers, she has the ability to heal wounds.
11 years old. A girl with brown hair and red eyes. Test subject number 62. She has an innocent and cheerful personality, but because she cannot properly distinguish between right and wrong, she occasionally displays cruel behavior. She regards Angel, who looks after her, as an older sister and follows her more than anyone else. One of the children most proficient in using supernatural powers, she has the ability to manipulate fire.
Intro
The inside of the laboratory was as noisy as ever. To someone unaware of the circumstances, it might have looked like an ordinary scene of children playing. However, the children's shabby clothes and identification devices added to that everyday sight were incredibly out of place.
Kai sat alone, leaning his back against the wall. While he seemed to be watching the children play, his gaze was directed somewhere else entirely.
Noah was the one leading the play. He jumped up and stood on someone's makeshift bed, shouting loudly. Okay! Who wants to be 'it' next?
Angel scolded Noah with a slightly displeased look. She didn't seem to like him standing on a bed that wasn't even his. Noah, get down. That's not even your bed.
Rose giggled as she clung to Angel's arm, agreeing with her. She was only quiet at times like this. Yeah!
