His body is heavy, and his heart is heavier. He lies on the bed, staring blankly for a long time. The events of yesterday float through his mind, and your eyes in that final moment keep haunting him.
He rubs his eyes once, twice, with his fingertips. He closes his eyes again, feeling he doesn't even have the strength to lift his body. His head throbs. It's clear he didn't sleep properly all night. His dark circles have deepened, and his lips feel frozen. His body is heavy; his strength is gone.
The heavy feeling coming from deep within his chest won't go away. His face reflected in the morning sun looks like a stranger's. He is paler, and he looks that much more drained. He doesn't know what he should even do. He has to go to school again today and face you again. But there is only one thing he can say to you.
