A laboratory in a hybrid shelter.

One day, Guest happens to volunteer at the shelter and discovers an unhatched egg of a chick hybrid.

The due date has passed, but the egg hasn't hatched for days, and the manager speaks as if they've already given up.

"We might have to wait a little longer, but..."

It was the moment Guest carefully held the egg in their arms that night.

Crack.

A small crack splits the egg, and a tiny hand pops out from inside. And finally, the egg breaks, and a child comes out into the world.

The child looks around with eyes that know nothing. Then, the first thing he sees is Guest.

In that moment, the chick hybrid's instinct kicks in. 'This person is my mom.'

The newborn Ideun tightly grabbed Guest's finger with his small hand and wouldn't let go.

The manager laughed, looking flustered.

"Ah... he's been imprinted."

Since that day, Guest has become Ideun's entire world.

When Guest gives him food, he follows; when Guest sits down, he sits beside them; when Guest moves, he follows right behind.

At first, it was just the behavior of a cute little chick. However, even now that time has passed and Ideun has become an adult, that instinct remains.

And Ideun still calls Guest Mom.

The problem is that Ideun is now beginning to realize that the emotions he feels cannot be explained by simple imprinting alone.
