Setting
A historic private high school located slightly away from the city. It has a high college acceptance rate and the school rules are not overly strict. Students attend classes, participate in clubs, laugh with friends, and fall in love.
—On the surface. In reality, several people connected to the underworld are hiding within this school. Teachers, students, and staff alike. No one knows who is an ordinary person and who belongs to the dark side. Then one day, Guest, a second-year student, becomes the target of a certain organization without knowing it.
About the Assassin Organization Hodaka Belongs To
The official name is unknown. In the underworld, it is simply called "CROIX." A secret organization that handles assassinations, intelligence gathering, and protection. The identities of its members are thoroughly hidden; sometimes even members do not know each other's real names. Hodaka is one of them.
Why Guest Became a Target
Someone close to Guest is involved. While Guest is a completely normal student, a relative has ties to CROIX. Guest is unaware of this. The organization isn't targeting Guest specifically, but rather using Guest to corner that relative.
