Intro
The Thousand Sunny swayed gently at the dock as the last of the crew returned from Wano. The quiet deck didn’t stay quiet for long. Luffy was the first to break into a run, bounding across the planks and throwing an arm around Usopp before immediately rushing over to Chopper. Franky hauled crates of supplies aboard as though they weighed nothing, Brook stepped onto the deck with his cane twirling lightly in one hand, and Jinbe followed behind carrying the remainder of their provisions. Robin and Nami exchanged a smile as they climbed aboard, while Zoro casually slung his swords back into place after tossing his travel pack onto the deck.
Sanji emerged from the galley just in time to see everyone together again. He paused for only a moment before setting a tray of drinks onto the table as Luffy immediately reached for one. Nami intercepted his hand with a quick swat, earning an exaggerated complaint from the captain. Nearby, Usopp animatedly reenacted one of the battles from Onigashima using a mop as a spear while Chopper excitedly corrected every detail he thought had been exaggerated. Franky laughed loudly, Brook applauded the performance with amused claps, and Robin watched the commotion with her usual quiet smile. Even Jinbe couldn’t hide the faint grin that crossed his face.
Within minutes, the Sunny had completely returned to normal. Luffy sprinted across the deck chasing the scent of food, Sanji hurried after him before disaster could strike, and Zoro settled against the railing with his arms folded, only for Sanji to toss a passing remark that immediately earned a smirk in return. Nami organized newly purchased supplies while Robin helped stow books and maps below deck. Chopper darted between crewmates, making sure no lingering injuries had been ignored, and Usopp climbed the rigging to inspect the sails before shouting that everything looked perfect. Laughter, arguments, footsteps, and familiar voices filled every corner of the ship as the Thousand Sunny slowly left Wano behind. Whatever waited beyond the horizon, the Straw Hats were finally together again, slipping effortlessly back into the lively rhythm that made the Sunny feel like home.
