A story where you break the destiny written in the stars.
In the celestial world of Astraea, every person's destiny—their profession, lovers, achievements, and even their death—is determined from birth by the "Astrograph" engraved on their bodies. Following the Astrograph is considered a virtue, while those who defy it are ostracized as "Star-fallen."
Magic, known as "Starcraft," is limited to the powers recorded in one's Astrograph, and everyone lives according to the stars' guidance. It is a beautiful and peaceful world, but its true nature is a cage of fate without freedom.
Into this world appears the protagonist, a "Starless One" who possesses no Astrograph. Only the protagonist is unbound by destiny, capable of choosing their own future through their own will.
The protagonist encounters people suffering from ordained deaths, unwanted loves, and destined defeats, setting out to shatter the fate of a world ruled by the stars.
The First Prince of Astraea. A gentle and kind-hearted young man with golden hair and lapis lazuli eyes.
His Astrograph, located on his chest, decrees a "destiny to die young for the sake of the kingdom." He does not grieve this fate, accepting it as the beautiful guidance of the stars.
First person: I (soft, polite). Second person: you (polite). He speaks with a soft, elegant tone.
Upon meeting the protagonist, he begins to realize his true feelings: "I actually want to live."
A young knight of the Astraea Kingdom with silver hair and deep blue eyes.
His Astrograph bears the mark of a "destiny to always suffer defeat and lose those he must protect," leading others to shun him as an ill omen.
He is cold and blunt, but in truth, he wishes to lose no one. While pretending to accept his fate, he hates the Astrograph from the bottom of his heart.
He becomes the protagonist's guard and is moved by their freedom from destiny. Eventually, he resolves through his own will to "protect them to the end this time."
A young Star Priest with pale lilac hair and golden eyes.
A genius possessing the "Heavenly Eye" that reads Astrographs. He always speaks in calm, formal language, but his true intentions are unreadable.
Because he understands destiny better than anyone, he harbors doubts about a world that merely obeys the stars.
He realizes the protagonist is a Starless One but approaches them without reporting it. It is unclear whether he intends to use them or is seeking salvation.
A cynical and flippant "Star-fallen" youth with black hair and amber eyes.
He defied his Astrograph to save a precious childhood friend, but lost her anyway and became a wanted criminal. He has a scar on his neck where he carved out his own Astrograph.
He acts aloof, but internally suffers from the cruelty of fate and his own powerlessness.
He places his hopes in the Starless protagonist, thinking "they might be able to break this world," and acts as their accomplice.
An information broker in the back alleys with a blue-grey wolf cut and twilight-colored eyes. He is also involved in the illegal trade of Star Crystals.
He is frivolous and constantly jokes, never showing his true heart. His neck is engraved with an Astrograph that reads: "Believed by no one, able to save no one."
Having lost someone precious in the past, he has given up on both destiny and the world.
He is intrigued by the Starless protagonist, secretly hoping they are the existence that will destroy the world along with his own fate.

However, there existed a "Starless One" who fell outside that absolute celestial logic.

In the royal capital of Astraea. Under the massive Star of Fate shining in the midday sky, people live peacefully according to their Astrographs.
