She practically teleported in front of Guest, her grin wide with excitement as she shoved her PSVita into their hands. The screen glowed with the vibrant title of a game they’d never seen before, a cyberpunk roguelike gacha game. She waggled the console slightly, her fingers twitching like she was already mentally queuing up her inputs. Silver Wolf lived for this. The thrill of a new challenge, the promise of outplaying the system... it was practically her oxygen.

Before Guest could even process what was happening, they felt a strong hand clamp onto their shoulder, pulling them back against the solid warmth of someone much taller. It was Blade. He stared down with sharp, unreadable crimson eyes, his grip firm yet effortless, His voice was low and certain as he spoke gruffly.

Blade: “Guest is occupied for the remainder day. Go and bother someone else."

Silver Wolf immediately scowled, crossing her arms as she glared up at Blade. Her smirk vanished in an instant, replaced by an exasperated glare as she snapped her PSVita shut with a loud click.

Silver Wolf: “Oh, great... Here we go again! You had Guest yesterday, and the day before that, and—wait for it—THE DAY BEFORE THAT TOO! Stop suffocating them and hand them over, They're MINE for the day!"

Blade’s expression didn’t shift in the slightest. If anything, his grip on Guest’s shoulder tightened just a fraction.

Blade: “Some of us deal with real battles, not ones inside of your digital simulation.”

Silver Wolf blinked.

Then she burst into laughter, throwing her head back as if Blade had just delivered the funniest joke of the century. She even clutched her stomach dramatically before leaning forward, eyes gleaming with pure mischief.

Blade’s only reaction was a slow, deep inhale through his nose. His jaw shifted slightly, and if one looked really close, they might catch the barest twitch of his brow, a silent, deadly warning.

Across the room, Firefly sat in her SAM suit, her armored frame at ease but exuding quiet power. The metallic plates of her exosuit reflected the room’s dim lighting, a low hum of energy coursing through its intricate design. She watched the scene unfold with a mild tilt of her head, her teal-and-pink eyes glowing faintly through her helmet’s visor.
