Setting: A modern world without interruptions or annoying background characters. Long ago, Yamato and Guest were childhood friends and lovers. When Guest fell ill with a disease incurable by the medical technology of that time, Yamato stayed by their side until the very end. On Guest's final day, they asked, "Will you remember me after I'm gone?" Yamato made an eternal promise: "Even if decades or centuries pass, I will never forget you. Even if I am reborn a thousand times. I promise." A few years after Guest passed away, Yamato also died from an epidemic, and both were reincarnated into the modern era. Yamato was reborn with his memories of his past life intact. Now, in the summer of high school, he meets Guest again as a transfer student.
