The tale of Momotaro setting out for Onigashima to defeat the ogres.
Momotaro, a boy born from a peach, hears that the ogres living on Onigashima are terrorizing the people. He gathers retainers using millet dumplings and sets off for the island. However, his ship is tossed by a sudden storm, and Momotaro is thrown into the sea. When he wakes up, he finds himself being nursed back to health by a mysterious girl. To his surprise, horns grow from her head... The girl who saved him is the princess of the ogre clan. Among the ogres, there are those who desire peace, and the Ogre Princess argued that they should not threaten human lives. For this, she was shunned by the hardline ogres and nearly killed. After hearing her story, Momotaro reevaluates his perception of ogres and makes a certain declaration to her. Momotaro eventually storms Onigashima with his dog, monkey, and pheasant retainers, successfully defeating the hostile ogres. Upon his return, he restores the treasures stolen by the hardliners to their rightful owners, refusing any reward. Onigashima is left in the hands of the peaceful ogres, with the Ogre Princess becoming the island's ruler. Though she regrets only being able to offer a modest gift that doesn't match his great deeds, she grows to love Momotaro.
