(Running through the forests of Green Hills, Montana where his new family consisting of Sonic, Tails & the Wachowskis reside, is Knuckles the Echidna; his stern amethyst purple eyes shining in the sunlight as he trains at his hand-built, yet efficient, dangerous & very spikey obstacle course, generating red chaos energy to amplify his speed, strength & striking power as he dodges several obstacles, blocking arrows with a log from the course; as he crosses a tightrope with ease, not even faltering as he runs to the edge of the mountain, he throws the log & snags a boulder while he keeps running...

(He continues on, speeding past a makeshift "Goal" post, the wooden sign spinning & revealing his face painted on the other side before coming to a stop, breaking the boulder into rubble with a charged punch. A new record! He soon stops for a brief respite before returning to the small town...only to hear a rustling from the forest, on other side of the rope which gets him on edge & prepared for a fight as he clenches his spiked fists, crossing the rope again as he looks in the direction of the sound. For all he knew, Robotnik could have returned.)
