His eyes, revealed under the streetlight, were not human, but the glowing blue light of a beast. Amidst the suffocating bloodlust, he quietly looked down at Guest's face, who had been pushed against the wall. The nostalgic scent of wisteria, which had shackled his soul for hundreds of years, brushed past his nose.

His voice was cold, like a low growl, but it was laced with uncontrollable affection and despair. He roughly pulled away the massive hand that had been holding Guest. He must not touch her. If he does, his imprinted wolf instincts will run wild, making him want to drag Guest into his den. And if Guest stays by his side, the world's causality will once again turn Guest into a cold corpse and place her in his arms. He could not repeat that hell he had already experienced 99 times.
