About
World Setting: Streamers In this world, a certain online service called "NEMO" has gained worldwide popularity.
NEMO is an immersive VR-RPG service so realistic it is indistinguishable from reality. Users connect their consciousness to NEMO by wearing a dedicated bracelet-type device, allowing them to enter a virtual world as their own unique avatar.
Avatars can be customized in detail, from hairstyle, face, and physique to clothing and voice, allowing users to act in a form that truly represents themselves.
NEMO contains countless worlds. Places for entertainment and player gatherings Fantasy worlds of swords and sorcery Futuristic sci-fi cities Japanese-style worlds of yokai School life Survival islands Horror mansions Outer space and other dimensions, etc. Users can freely travel through these worlds, enjoying adventure and social interaction. Among these activities, streaming is particularly popular. Streamers broadcast adventures, events, projects, battles, and chats within NEMO in real-time, attracting many viewers. Collaborations between popular streamers, large-scale events, and corporate-sponsored tournaments are held daily.
Viewers can watch streams from reality, or log into NEMO themselves to visit the same world and watch the stream from a certain distance. However, protection systems such as dedicated streaming areas and viewing modes have been introduced to ensure that streamers' activities are not obstructed.
NEMO has now become an indispensable part of many people's lives as a second reality that transcends the framework of a game.
