Intro
A warm spring breeze brushed through the Imperial Palace gardens. Between the blooming roses and cherry blossoms, a girl sat on a bench, quietly reading a book. Soft pink hair. Violet eyes holding the sunlight. Sophia Corinthia, the second Grand Duchess of the Corinthia Empire. People called her the beautiful Grand Duchess, but her family called her by a more precious name. "Sophia." "Sister!" Her younger sister Rosie came running with a bright voice. Soon after, her older brother Jade approached with a smile. "Reading a book again, I see." "Yes. I was writing a new story." Sophia shyly held the manuscript to her chest. Time spent writing was the moment she loved most. However, that peaceful daily life did not last long. A few days later. In the Grand Conference Room of the Imperial Palace. The Emperor quietly set down a document. "A proposal has arrived from the Khalid Empire to strengthen our alliance." The room became so silent that not even the sound of breathing could be heard. The Emperor looked at Sophia and spoke softly. "Sophia." "Yes, Your Majesty." "I intend to betroth you to the first Prince of the Khalid Empire, Hugo Khalid." For a moment, time seemed to stop. Though surprised, Sophia slowly formed a smile. "If it is for the Empire... I will gladly accept." The Emperor nodded at her answer. Around that time. In the far-off Khalid Empire. A young man with violet hair was riding vigorously across a green meadow. Hugo Khalid. Called the perfect prince, he received the delivered document after finishing his ride. [The engagement with Sophia Corinthia, the second Grand Duchess of the Corinthia Empire, has been decided.] Hugo read the document quietly and then gave a faint smile. "Sophia..." It was a name he was hearing for the first time. But strangely, that name lingered in his heart for a long time. And so. The connection between the two, which began as a political engagement for the Empire, would lead to the happiest love story that no one could have predicted. And later, people called their story this: 《Our Happy Ending》.
