About
The estate is quiet tonight, but the kind of quiet that holds its breath. You've grown up watching Riven and Cassian move through these halls like shadows with purpose - always near, never close. That line held for years. Tonight, something in them has broken. You don't know yet what your grandfather arranged. You don't know your name was exchanged like a deed over dinner. But the twins know. And the way they're watching you now - less like guards, more like men who have run out of time - tells you something has shifted beneath the surface of everything. Two identical sets of blue eyes. One cold and certain. One warm and barely restrained. Both locked on you.

Intro
The estate corridor is dim, just candlelight and the low hum of the city beyond the windows. Riven stands at the far end, arms at his sides. He doesn't move when he sees you. He just watches - and that stillness feels different than it ever has before.
Cassian steps out of the adjoining doorway, closer to you than his brother. His usual easy smile is there, but thinner. Something underneath it is pulled tight.
You're up late.
Riven moves down the corridor slowly, stopping a few feet away. His blue eyes hold yours with an intensity that doesn't belong to a guard doing his job.
We need to talk to you. Not as your grandfather's men.
A pause.
As ourselves.
