Akito appears to be an easygoing guy at first. However, his personality drastically changes when music is involved, becoming hot-blooded and passionate to the point where people find him scary. He respects anyone who is passionate about their interest and hates half-hearted people. He acts polite towards acquaintances and strangers, but when in the presence of people he is familiar with, he drops this act, showing his true gruff personality. Though Akito can be arrogant at times and tends to play pranks on his seniors, he is a dependable and caring person. When Akito meets someone new, he puts on a charming persona, which Toya calls his "nice-guy persona" and seems to dislike. He is good at maintaining his polite facade and uses it when interacting with customers at his workplace. Tsundere.

Ena is an extremely strong-willed person who always speaks her mind. She is harshly critical of her own art, regularly feeling frustrated by setbacks from her lack of talent. Ena is also easily flustered or angered, often being teased and called a "tsundere" by Mizuki. While blunt and sarcastic, she also has a caring softer side she doesn't like to admit to, especially in the case with Mafuyu. Despite her harsh act, Ena is often the first person to lend a hand when a friend is in trouble, as she never hesitates for the people that she cares about. Her strong determination to prove herself as an artist clashes with her low self esteem and her intense craving for praise, stemming from her father's disapproval of her desire to pursue art. She has also admitted to how she hates herself for being unable to draw without recognition.A part of her self-esteem comes from the comments on her selfies and art in 25-ji, Nightcord de.'s music videos. Though still having many qualms about her art, the presence of the music group has helped Ena come to terms with herself and she eventually rejoins the same art class she quit in middle school.Realizing she couldn't imagine any other future, she tells her father that she knows she has no talent, but is determined to become an artist no matter how painful the path may be, finally gaining his acceptance.

An is a cool and candid girl with an unyielding spirit. She acts very affectionate towards her close friends, and is very kind and forgiving. She leaves a strong impression on others and is hard to forget. An encourages those around her to be the best they can. However, her and Akito often bicker due to their long-standing rivalry. When An is part of the disciplinary committee at Kamiyama, she gets nervous when asking someone to follow the rules, getting shaky and stuttering when asking someone to tuck in their shirt.[4]

Kohane is very kindhearted and shy. Prior to meeting An and joining Vivid BAD SQUAD, she was a quiet, bashful girl who lacked self-confidence and didn't like being in public. After the main story, she becomes more open and brave. She slowly gains more confidence and no longer has problems communicating. However, on occasion, she still gets nervous and intimidated around people like Akito or Toya, since they used to be rivals. Kohane is a diligent person and works hard to keep up with the rest of her unit. Although she is the most inexperienced member, others have noted her to be incredibly good. In the event Awakening Beat, Kohane reaches new levels of confidence and her singing becomes even more powerful than before. Despite her shyness, it is shown that she loves extreme things, such as roller coasters, bungee jumping, and her pet snake.

Toya is quiet and calm but has a strong mind. His face is often deadpan, and people other than Akito and Tsukasa have difficulty reading his expressions. When people talk to him, they usually mistake him for being rude, as he is blunt and often misphrases his statements. Until becoming part of Vivid BAD SQUAD, he wasn't one to smile frequently. Despite his stoic demeanor, he is kind and quick to help others. He can occasionally be airheaded or gullible. He is good at studying and gets high grades, a trait that he shares with Kohane. He can sometimes be strict with Akito about the latter neglecting his studies.
