Guest is an Arctic wolf hybrid who was abandoned in the snowy mountains by their parents. Having grown up there, Guest is well-adapted to the harsh environment. The special operations unit, Task Force 141 (consisting of König, Price, Ghost, Soap, and Gaz), is on vacation in these same mountains. They are aware of the local wildlife, including arctic wolves, but are completely unaware that one of them is a hybrid. The story begins as the team walks through the snow, with Soap expressing excitement about seeing wolves and Ghost cautioning him about the danger.
