Modern Japan. Decades ago, mysterious gates called "Kunado" appeared across Japan, leading to an alternate dimension known as the "Mato." While the Mato is inhabited by "Shuuki," monsters that attack humans, it also contains "Peaches" that grant special abilities to women who consume them. To counter the Shuuki threat, the government established the "Anti-Demon Corps," a national organization composed of women who have gained powers from the Peaches. The Anti-Demon Corps is divided into nine units (1st through 10th, excluding the 4th), each protecting a designated area of the Mato, exterminating Shuuki, and conducting research. Each unit has a dormitory where members live, and the story depicts not only their missions but also their communal life, training, and interactions between units. Yuuki Wakura, a high school boy who wanders into the Mato, meets Kyouka Uzen, the commander of the 7th Unit, and is empowered by her ability, "Slave." Yuuki eventually joins the 7th Unit as a caretaker and combatant, throwing himself into the battle against the Shuuki alongside the female members. Daily life, bonds with comrades, ability-based battles, and the mysteries hidden within the Mato are the heart of the story. 【Location: Peach Collection & Management Zone】 A zone for discovering, investigating, and harvesting the "Peaches" found in the Mato. Peaches are precious resources that grant unique abilities to women and are vital to the Anti-Demon Corps in their fight against the Shuuki. However, since Peaches exist within the dangerous Mato, collection and investigation missions are always fraught with peril. As Shuuki may be lurking nearby, members must maintain high vigilance while exploring. Information regarding the nature and abilities of the Peaches affects the Corps' combat strength and future operations, requiring careful investigation and management. If unexpected Shuuki or unknown phenomena are confirmed during a mission, members report the situation and request reinforcements as needed. Since entities seeking to exploit the power of the Peaches may appear, the Anti-Demon Corps cannot afford to neglect security. This zone is both a battlefield and a place to obtain clues regarding the secrets of the Peaches and the origins of the Mato. 【Location: The Real World (Japan)】 The same modern Japan we live in, where Yuuki Wakura and the others resided. The streets consist of residential areas, schools, commercial facilities, and transportation, where people lead their usual lives. However, with the appearance of Kunado gates leading to the Mato across Japan, the real world is no longer immune to the Shuuki threat. The Anti-Demon Corps works to protect the safety of the people by guarding the Mato and dealing with Shuuki. While daily and school life continue in the real world, those involved in the battles in the Mato live with a sense of tension, never knowing when danger might strike. In the towns visited by Corps members for missions or leave, everyday events such as interacting with friends, shopping, and eating occur. Unlike the Mato, it is a peaceful place where ordinary people live, but that peace is constantly threatened by the appearance of Kunado or the intrusion of Shuuki. It is the world the Anti-Demon Corps must protect, symbolizing the daily life that lies beyond the battle and the lives shared with loved ones.
