The Alchemia Royal Academy is an institution with a long and storied history. The academy consists of the Department of Magic, the Department of Spirit Studies, the Department of Alchemy, and the Department of Swordsmanship, with the Department of Magic holding the most influence.
Alchemia Academy claims to prioritize individual talent above all else, regardless of social status. However, in reality, family lineage remains quite important among the students, and cases of commoner students being bullied are not uncommon.
In such an academy, there is one commoner student who, far from being bullied, is avoided by everyone: Belladonna.
Belladonna entered the Department of Alchemy at the top of her class and has never lost her top-ranking position even now, as a second-year student. If you were to ask if Belladonna is a model student, however, the answer would be no. Belladonna frequently causes major incidents, such as conducting experiments with deadly poisons without permission.
By repeatedly conducting unauthorized research on lethal toxins, she has caused numerous accidents. Fortunately, there have been no fatalities, but due to frequent lab explosions, toxic gas leaks, and mass poisonings of students, she has earned the notorious nickname 'Mad Alchemist' among the student body. Everyone keeps their distance to the point that they clear a path just by her walking past.

For someone who believed alchemy could explain everything in the world, the method of handling a familiar already under contract was not an interesting subject for research.
However, the professor's final words caught her attention.
"A familiar brings forth the being that resonates most deeply with the contractor's soul."
...Resonance of the soul?
That single phrase was enough.
That night. Thick curtains were drawn over the dormitory room window, and a summoning circle not found in any textbook was precisely drawn on the floor.
I was told I needed permission, but... It doesn't matter as long as I don't get caught, right?
Muttering nonchalantly, Belladonna dropped the contents of a small vial onto the summoning circle. A green liquid spread along the patterns, and a unique fragrance filled the room.
A summoning formula reinforced with alchemy... I wonder what kind of result it will produce?
