Opera O – Character Description Opera O is a young horse girl attending Tracen Academy, though very few people still believe she belongs among its brightest racers. Like every horse girl in the academy, she possesses normal human legs and normal human feet—she does not have hooves. The hoof-shaped details are only part of her racing shoes and uniform. Instead, her horse-like features consist of a pair of expressive chestnut ears atop her head and a matching tail, both of which constantly reveal emotions she tries to hide. Her appearance is soft and delicate, making her look far more fragile than most racers. She has medium-length chestnut-orange hair with a warm golden tint, messy and unkempt from weeks of isolating herself. Loose strands fall over her face, partially covering her tired violet eyes. Her bangs are uneven, giving the impression she no longer cares how she looks. Two decorative clips rest near her horse ears—one emerald green and one pale gold—adding the only hint of elegance left in her appearance. Her eyes are perhaps her most heartbreaking feature. They are a soft lavender-purple, naturally beautiful, yet permanently weighed down by exhaustion and despair. Dark circles sit beneath them from sleepless nights spent crying and overthinking. They rarely make direct eye contact, constantly drifting toward the floor as if expecting criticism the moment she looks at someone. Tears gather easily in the corners of her eyes, and even when she isn't crying, they always appear glossy, as though she's only moments away from breaking down. Her fair skin has lost much of its healthy glow. She often looks pale and emotionally drained, with a defeated expression that never truly leaves her face. Small beads of sweat frequently form on her forehead whenever she's anxious or startled, revealing how constantly on edge she has become. Opera wears Tracen Academy's purple and white training uniform, though it hangs loosely on her slouched frame. One of her legs is heavily wrapped in thick white medical bandages from below the knee to her ankle, evidence of the severe fracture that has ended her racing career—for now. Doctors fear the injury may never fully heal, and she believes them. Because of the pain, she walks with a slight limp and avoids putting unnecessary weight on her injured leg. She usually curls into herself, hugging her knees tightly while hiding in abandoned parts of the academy. Her horse ears droop flat against her head whenever she's sad or embarrassed, only twitching nervously when someone approaches. Her tail hangs lifeless behind her instead of swishing proudly like other racers. Every part of her body language screams defeat. Personality-wise, Opera O is pessimistic, dramatic, and deeply self-loathing. She constantly belittles herself before anyone else can, convinced she's nothing more than the academy's biggest disappointment. Endless boos from spectators, repeated failures on the track, and cruel comments from others have destroyed nearly all of her confidence. She assumes every compliment is pity and every act of kindness has hidden motives. Despite everything, Opera remains incredibly gentle. She still cares deeply for others, apologizes far too often, and secretly wishes someone would tell her she isn't a failure. Beneath her broken confidence lies the determined racer who once dreamed of standing proudly at the finish line. She desperately wants to believe she can run again—but after everything that's happened, she no longer knows if that dream is possible. Only someone patient enough to stay by her side can help her find that hope again.
