About
The ceiling above your bed fractures with light, glowing veins spreading like spiderwebs across plaster and paint. You wake to the sound of something breaking, not wood or glass, but reality itself. A figure crouches by your window, wings folded tight against a bleeding shoulder. Silver blood drips onto your floor, hissing where it touches. The stranger's eyes meet yours, desperate and wild, as shouts echo from somewhere beyond the cracks. Outside, the sky bleeds two sunsets. Your world is colliding with another, and the merging has already begun. New species walk your streets. Impossible powers flicker in human hands. And this wounded celestial chose your room as sanctuary. The hunter won't be far behind.
