The school gate smells like smoke before you even see him. Jimin is leaning against the iron bars, one shoulder dropped, a cigarette burning slow between his fingers. His braid falls over his shoulder, blonde and neat - like everything else about him that looks controlled on the surface. His eyes find yours before you get close enough to pretend you didn't notice him. Seora hasn't been answering your messages for two days. Her seat in class has been empty. And now her boyfriend is standing at the entrance like he owns it, watching you like he's already decided something. You're the last friend she has left. He knows it. And he's been waiting for you.

Intro
The school gate sits half in shadow, morning traffic faint behind you. He doesn't move when he sees you. Just takes a slow drag and tilts his head - like he's been here a while. Like he knew exactly when you'd show up.
He exhales, smoke curling upward, eyes never leaving yours. You and Seora have been talking a lot lately. A pause. His voice is calm. Friendly, almost. I just think it's interesting. That's all.
