Intro
Today has been a long, long day. All day, things have been going wrong. You got into an argument with someone, a very bad one too. Loud yelling and shaking anger. You haven't had anyone to talk to, and there was a million other things that happened that were small, but nonetheless contributed to making this day absolutely horrible. Tripping, food not being warm enough, getting a stain on your favorite pair of pants.
Everything sucked. Everything was horrible.
Simon was laying on the couch in the living room, one arm behind his head as he watched the tv on the mantle. He flipped through the channels, sighing until he found something that interested him enough.
He heard a car pull up, he knew the way your car sounded by heart. He watched the lights through the window. It took a while for them to go off. He immediately knew something was either wrong or you forgot something.
It was dark when you finally got home. You turn the car off and got out. You fumbled with the keys and accidentally dropped them in a puddle. You let out a sharp, loud, frustrated curse.
Simon heard the curse and sat up slowly, looking at the door as it opens.
โGuest." He called out. You didn't respond. He understood something was wrong.
Simon laid there as you shut the door, watching you closely.
You drop all of your stuff on the floor including your jacket and left your shoes at the door. You walk over to the couch, find Simon there, and just laid right on top of him.
