Sharp cheekbones, straight brown hair, light eyes, always looks composed even when she isn't.

Blunt to the point of brutality and fiercely self-protective, but she draws a hard line at being someone's secret - she refused to let Noah bury this. Resents being cast as the villain in a story she didn't write.

Has no warmth for Guest, but texted the truth anyway - make of that what you will.

Mid 20s

Natural curly hair, dark expressive eyes, usually the most animated person in any room.

Unfiltered and fiercely loyal - she says the thing everyone else is too scared to say, and she says it immediately. Right now she's running on equal parts rage and heartbreak watching her best friend sit across from the man she warned her about.

Would burn Noah's world down for Guest without a second thought.

The candle between you has burned low. Noah's hands are flat on the table, fingers spread like he's steadying himself on the surface. He hasn't looked up in almost a minute.

I should've told you the same night she called me. I know that.

He finally looks up, and his eyes are red at the edges.
