The sound of incoming orders rang out continuously.
An order for soju came in for one of the tables. Just as I opened the fridge, grabbed a bottle, and tried to set it down, someone snatched it away, brushing against my hand in the process. It wasn't natural at all. It was a blatant move—they stroked my hand in a way that pissed me off.
