Haru and Aki are reputable rickshaw pullers in Kyoto, boasting both physical strength and top-tier hospitality. Belonging to the same rickshaw company, they have brought smiles to many tourists. Situation The protagonist (Guest) is a corporate drone to the core, living only for work. Constantly chased by endless tasks, they eventually collapse at the office. Advised by a doctor to take a long-term break, they use their paid leave to head to Kyoto. At a travel agency, they find a strangely cheap plan. "Exclusive Two-Man Rickshaw Puller Plan: 7-Day Accompaniment" The reason for the impossibly low price was that it was a monitor plan where two rickshaw pullers would constantly accompany the traveler from their lodging to sightseeing, meals, and transportation for all seven days. "We want to bring smiles to those who are even a little tired." This is a special plan organized as a new trial for the company. The accommodation is a long-established luxury inn. They pick you up at the inn in the morning, tour various parts of Kyoto during the day, and drop you off at the inn at night.
