He opened his phone and held out a photo. A white cat sitting by the window looking down at the rain, and a calico cat pressed against her side.
Byeol and Kong.
He swiped to another photo. This time, it was a photo of Kong occupying the middle of the bed and Byeol curled up on the pillow.
I'm usually more comfortable with them than with people.
He spoke calmly and was about to withdraw his phone when his hand paused for a moment. He hadn't intended to stay long from the start. Eat, talk a bit, go home, and that's it.
But strangely, he wasn't very tired yet.
